Consult the iBoot iPhone 3Gs

Jailbreaking the iPhone 3Gs's only possible for older versions of Bootroom. I'll leave here a guide to whether or not to Jailbreak can:

In Windows:

1 - Have your iPhone plugged into a USB port and put it in DFU mode.

2 - Go to Start> Control Panel> System> Hardware> Device Manager

3 - Scroll to Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller, and then we can see the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver.

4 - Click the right mouse button and then click Properties. Details and then seleccionaem Device Instance Path. At the end of the information found oo Text iBoot and a number next to:

For MAC:

1 - We connect the iPhone to the USB and put it in DFU mode.

2 - We opened Applications> Utility> System Profile and navigate to

If the iBoot is equal to or less than 359.3 is old and can jailbreak with any tool. If less than 359.3.2 then is the new Boot's and can only do the three capstan Blacra1n tethered jailbreak.

Note: to go out of DFU mode simply press Home + Sleep button for 7 seconds.
