Doom Resurrection

Id Software Doom Resurrection presented a new remake of the classic first-person shooter designed specifically for the iPhone and iPod touch. According to John Carmack, co-founder and CTO, id Software, Doom Resurrection was the secret project that the company has maintained for months, and is not a simple remake of the Classic Doom (also under development). Doom Resurrection has new levels based on graphics engine (3D engine) Doom 3 for Mac, PC and Consoles.

The story of Doom Resurrection refers to the days of Doom 3, where the character is intended to prevent the invasion of Earth by terrible beings. The game controls are very intuitive and use the accelerometer to move the character, press the small screen lets you shoot with the various weapons.

Doom Resurrection will be available in iPhone App Store during the month of July, and is compatible with the iPhone 2.2 and iPhone OS 3.0. There are no set prices.
